Gourav, first, prepare the relevant documents: your passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, and a passport-style photo taken recently, an invitation letter from your friend. Next, submit the application to CVASC to apply for a tourist L type for that. It will cost you INR5,510 for the application. Usually the duration of stay is 30 days.

It takes 4 working days to process the application.
You need to go there to submit the application and collect your passport.
