uk passport holder wanting tourist visa in Dublin

Hi, am planning Chinese tour Nov 2017 from London. Live in NI. Can I get a visa in Dublin and how much for? I hold UK passport but would it be cheaper to get an Irish passport. Tour is 10 days, entering by Shanghai, departing Beijing, thanks
