auckland to bishkek nz passport

Question

im flying from auckland to bishkek we have two stops in guanghou and urumchi, can we go out  in guanghou for 72 hours without visa when we return back to auckland ,beacouse we have long wait 14 h

Tina, I'm afraid you cannot use 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou because of your transit in Urumqi. You need to apply for a visa for that.
