As Canadian do I need visa enter Shanghai (PVG) Airpot via air and cruise ship within 24 hours?

1. We are going to enter to Shanghai (PVG) airport in the morning by air; then take taxi to Shanghai (Baoshan) cruise ship terminal sailing out of Shanghai same day in the afternoon.
2. One week late, our ship will be returning from Shanghai (Baoshan) cruise ship terminal in the morning, we will take taxi back to Shanghai (PVG) airport and flying out from (PVG) airport same day in the afternoon.
Do we need Visa as Canadian?
