It is my first time in china. However i need to get a new x2 type as i now plan to study madarin in china. I have all the paperwork and my passport as well as substantial document detailing everything as clear as daylight. How much will it cost? Can i get a year long x2 type? Hi, usually, the X2 type is valid for not more than 6 months, so you can apply for an X1 type for that if your study will last for one year, and it's possible for you to get it in Kuala Lumpur.
It will cost you MYR 188.30, and take four working days to process the application.
