About:Chinese Consulates in Thailand

I'm in China currently on an Italian passport & I need to renew my 12 moth business visa.

I'm told that I should go to my home country to do. Can I renew it in Bangkok instead. I have an invitation letter.

Brunski, I'm afraid you cannot do that in Bangkok. You need to go back to your home country for that.

Hello Becky, just wondering, is that a certainty from personal experience or definitive information, or is it merely an opinion?

It is an opinion based on other’s experience. It is said that temporary visitor in Thailand is advised to make the application in their home country. Of course, you can go there for a try. Good luck!
