About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

my work Z type expires on 31 July 2017.

I need to travel to Australia on 1 July and plan to return to China on 28 July. Will I be allowed back into Shenzhen with only 3 days left on my visa? There is not enough time to renew the current work Z type

Peter, I'm afraid it's rather difficult for you to do that because you need to extend your residence permit in China 1 month earlier before it expires.
You are advised to contact with the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to inquire about this.
