About:Visa Application for Children Born in US with Chinese Parents

Hi there I am an American citizen and my husband is Chinese citizen,

but our six month son is also an American citizen. Now i need to go back to China to for a wedding, so what do i need for my son a Visa application or travel book?

Hi, if your husband has the USA green card before your son was born, your son needs a visa for China. Otherwise, your son can apply for a Chinese travel document for that.

I'm in the same situation but my husband will be back in china by the time we will need to apply for the baby's travel document. On the page it says I would need an approval letter. Does that need to be notarized? If so can I have him do it now while he's here with us in the USA? What information should I include in the letter?
