Arriving in Capital Airport at 3:15 p.m. on a Wednesday. Is it possible to see the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square that afternoon or will the attractions be closed by the time we clear immigration and make our way into the city? Would also like to visit the Great Wall. Will assume that we could do all three in one day and then fly out from PEK to Shanghai for a cruise. Do you recommend staying at a hotel near the airport or opt for one closer to TS and FC? Thank you, Linda.
