About:Shanghai - Hong Kong Train

Is HK entry& exit permit required?

Do we only need to show passport for Chinese nationals? How about HK entry&exit permit? What if the permit was issued in Heilongjiang province(normally can only travel with group tours)? If the permit was issued in Heilongjiang but with family visit visa, is it ok to take this train through to HK? Thx!

For Chinese citizens, the entry&exit permit is a must to enter HK. If you had a L visa for the permit, you need to go with a travel group and may not able to take a direct ride to HK. If it is a T visa, it should be OK.
