About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Standby ticket to enjoy 72-hour free transit

I will be in hong kong, and fly standby. I would like to enjoy Beijing for 72 hours on my way back to the USA, is it possible? And does it have to be "confirmed" or can it be a standby confirmation?

Yes you can, it's no problem. Make just you have booked a hotel in Beijing for visa (quick) formalities.

You need a confirmed and ticketed Beijing-USA flight. Standby is not allowed.
