About:Chinese Embassy in Cambodia

Hi! I am a Cambodia citizen and am going to study in Beijing from September to December 2017.

I need to apply for a single entry visa, but since I am not in Cambodia from July and August, I want to apply for the visa in early or mid June. Could you tell me if this is possible? I have heard that I could not apply for Visa 3 months before I first arrive in China. If this is possible, how long does it take to process the visa and what documents deem important?

Thank you so much. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Justin

Justin, you can make the application 3 months prior to your trip, so you can apply for it in June. But usually, a visa is valid for 3 months, you are not advised to apply for it too early. Maybe you can do that at the end of June. In this case, it would be ok.
After you submit the application, it usually takes 4 working days to get the result. The documents include your passport and its photocopy, a completed application form, a bareheaded color photo, the admission letter and JW form from the school.
