About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Airport to Cruise ship

We fly from US (US Passports) to Shanghai via connection in Beijing. Arrive in the evening of day one. We board a cruise ship mid day on day three. Actually sail away on evening of day four. Do we fall under the 144 hour exemption? The total hours from landing till the ship sails away (to Japan) is about 65-70 hours.

Air China doesn't seem to know about any of this.

Hi, 144 hour free transit cannot cover your travel because you will also transit in Beijing.
