About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Have L type - 60 day entries, can I extend to 90?

I am currently in China on a L type with 60 day entries. I am planning to stay for 90 days, and do not really have the means to travel outside of Mainland China. I am currently in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. Is there a way I could extend the entry, even if I lose my current visa to get a new one? I'm a little confused on the process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kelly, you can try to extend the current L type 7 days earlier before it expires and then you can stay in China for a longer time.

How do I find the closest office to do that? Are they just in major cities like Shanghai and Beijing?

You can do that at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB in Taizhou. It is the closest office.
