About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Are you sure this policy apply for Xian ?

At the official french web site from French ministry of foreign affaires, they do not mention Xian ... Do you have a link to an official chinese website (even in chinese) that confirms the policy is still valid today (may 2017) for Xian ?

Your French website is obviously wrong (would you look for information about French immigration on a Chinese website?) and Xian is definitely included, as per Timatic today.
