About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

follow up question

What does this mean?

Visa required, except for Nationals of USA holding confirmed onward airline tickets to a third country, if arriving in and departing from the same city:

If I hold a USA passport and I am arriving/departing from Beijing and flying to a third country - I don't need a visa? Even if I am staying 80 hours?

Thanks

Beijing has a limit of 72 hours. Get a visa or change your flight.
