About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
Travelling from UK to Hong Kong, then Hong Kong to Beijing, then Beijing to UK - transit visa?
I'm flying from the UK to Hong Kong where I'll stay for six days (I don't need a visa for this).
I'm then flying from Hong Kong to Beijing (PEK) where I'll stay for less than 72 hours (arriving 10:30am on a Wednesday and leaving 00:30am on the Saturday). My flight on the Saturday is from Beijing (PEK) back to the UK.
I can't work out whether I will qualify for free transit for my stay in Beijing if I arrive from Hong Kong. I'd really appreciate some guidance. Thank you in advance.
