About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

we are british and are flying into Shanghai after being to Singapore and then Hong Kong.

We are staying 2 days then flying home to Uk. Can we sort out the 72 hour visa waiver form before we fly or do we have to do it after we land. If so how long does this take at the airport. Thanks

You just need to show your confirmed Shanghai to UK tickets when you check-in for your flight to Shanghai. Then fill in the China arrival and departure card (this is usually distributed on your flight) and follow the relevant signs in Shanghai. How long it takes can vary, like any other immigration process.
