About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Temporary residence permit change

Say that I have already obtained the temporary residence permit, but decide that I don't want to work in China anymore. I just want to live there for the remaining time with the permit. Can I do so on the temporary residence permit? Or do I need to reapply for another type of visa?

Alk, I’m afraid you cannot do that. You may need to re-apply for other type to do that.
