About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Non connecting flight from Singapore-Beijing-Mongolia

Hi,
i am holding malaysian passport. i will be flying to Beijing and from Beijing catch another non-connecting flight to ulaabaatar in less than 12hrs. Do I still need to exit the airport and re-enter again? if so, do i need a visa??

Bunzy, no, you don’t need a visa because you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing, but I’m not sure if you need to exit the airport and re-enter again, you are advised to confirm that with the airlines.
