Is our physical presence require as CVASC, New Delhi?

I am from Gujarat. I found that for Gujarat Chinese Visa Application center is in New Delhi.

I want to know, is it possible to just courier the require documents to CVASC, New delhi. Or the applicant must have to present with application?

Please advice.
