About:Embassy & Consulates of Switzerland in China

Hi I'm a US passport holder travelling to Guangzhou for 3days

Flight will be from Manila and Returning to Manila after 3days

If so, you are not eligible for the 72 hour visa-free transit in Guangzhou because it’s not a transit at all. You should apply for a visa in advance.
