About:Chinese Embassy in Netherlands

Hi my husband is going home for a visit in amsterdam and will transit to hk for 19 hours

his passport's validity is until july 2017 is that ok? Does he need 6 months passport validity? Thanks

I think it is ok. As for transiting, the passport doesn’t have to be valid for at least 6 months.
