About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hours Guangdong

If I have a ticket from London to Guangzhou with transfer in Hong Kong, does that count as coming from London or from Hong Kong ? ie to go back to London, can I simply fly with a ticket to Hong Kong ( not showing a London connection ) or do I have to go back non-stop from Guangzhou to London.
