About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am flying from UK to Hong Kong then a connecting flight to Guangzhou

Hi

I will stay 72 hours in Guangzhou then take a train to Hong Kong and fly home to Uk form Hong Kong
Do I need a China visa?
