About:Getting to Dongguan

I need to transfer from China Mainland city of Dongguan to Hong Kong International Airport.

How can I get there by public transportation? Or do I need to take taxi?

The transportation is quite convenient. Thus you don't need to take a taxi. You can take a direct coach at Dongguan City Terminal Bus Stop. It departs at 06:10, 07:10, 08:10, 13:10, 15:10 and 16:10. The ticket fare is HK$160/person. The duration is around 2 hours.

What about option by ferry from Humen Ferry Terminal directly to HKIA? Do you have any information on that? brgds markus

According to the official website, the ferry departs at 10:30, 12:30, 14:00, 16:30 and 18:30. The economy class charges HK$290/adult. The deluxe class costs HK$350/adult and HK$450/adult for the VIP class. The duration is around 1.5 hours.

It’s located at the end of Gangkou Avenue. You can search “Chu Kong Shipping Enterprises (Group) Company Limited” on the internet, and then you may find their official website.
