i am arriving into beijing capital airporttransfer to qingdao.

I am coming into China next week and I have a 4hr stopover >> I arrive into PEK around 5am and have a flight to Qingdao at 9am.... do I need to clear Customs in PEK or I do this in Qingdao?

You need to go through the customs at PEK.
