About:China Visa on Arrival

I'm visiting Shenzhen for three days as a tourist. Holding an EU passport,

but also a Hong Kong resident ID card.
Which document should I use for entry? I do not have an invitation for a specific occasion. Could this be an issue?

Thanks!

Maybe you can get a Shenzhen VOA, or you can apply for a tourist L type beforehand to visit China. Generally, the invitation letter is not necessary.

HKID holders can normally obtain multiple-entry visas.
