About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hello. I will be flying ORD --> PVG --> BKK on China East at the beginning of May.

I have been to many websites and all are giving conflicting answers. I will not have any checked bags, just a carry on. Please explain that transit process when traveling thru PVG. I an a member of Global Travel (GOES) and have an American "known traveler" number.

Kind Regards,
jake K

According to the information on the official website, if your two flights are both China Eastern Airline, you don't need to reclaim the baggage for international to international transfer. The detailed transfer procedures are the following:
After Arrival - Confirm Onword Boarding Pass - Check-in & Quarantine & Immigration & Security Check - Go to International Concourse - Boarding
Hope helpful!
