Hi I am arriving in Xiamen at 11am on the 5th May from New Zealand

after transiting in Hong Kong to visit my brother who is teaching in Xiamen. I am departing from Xiamen at 8am on the 8th May and transiting through Beijing (in transit for approx 3 hours) and travelling to London. I am hoping I will only need a 72 hour visa?

Courtney, sorry, you cannot enjoy the 72 hour free transit if you travel like that because you transit in both Xiamen and Beijing. You can only transit in one Chinese city based on the 72 hour policy. You need to apply for a tourist L type or transit G type then.
