About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Prague-Seoul-Shanghai-Prague(change in Beijing)

Good morning.

I will be travelling to Korea and China for meetings. Planned departure from Prague on 23/04 and fly to Seoul. 25/04 from Seoul to Shanghai. 30/04 back to Prague (transit in Beijing, 3 hr layover). I have an Irish passport and i think i can apply for the 144 hour visa free entry. Please can you confirm that i can. Thanks for your help.

You cannot because of your stop in Beijing.

Good morning John. Thanks for your reply. As I would be coming into Shanghai from Seoul could i then fly on the direct flight to Prague from Shanghai on the Sunday instead of going via Beijing. I would then fly 23/04 to Seoul, Seoul to Shanghai on 25th and then back to Prague direct on 30th. Hopefully that is ok, otherwise i have to look at other options or get a visa. Thanks again.
