Jana, you are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in China, under assumption that your stop in Xianyang implies the name of Xi'an airport.

One more detail. You should count your entire transit time, from your first scheduled arrival in China, in your case in Xi'an, until your last departure from China, in your case from Beijing. If the entire transit time calculated in that way is less than 24 hours, then you are perfectly eligible for 24 hour visa free transit through China.

By the way, you have mentioned that you will be flying from Prague to Xi'an, but we both know that there are no direct flights between the mentioned two cities, so you should be very cautious about your entire itinerary. Maybe you have even another landing within mainland China? Please, just check this detail and in case of any doubt, just appear here. You should be especially careful if your itinerary has Urumqi as a stop in China.
