About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

I have a visa for china, two entries, one of which is already used.

I have a stopover in Hong Kong (before going to Vietnam) would China see this as an entry to china, and deny me when I try to get in to china? Because I've visited twice?

I realise that it sounds complicated, but I really need help with this. Thanks!

Your stopover in HK won't run out of the other entry, so you can still use it enter mainland China.
