About:China Transit Visa

I'm USA green card holder and I'm traveling to Bangladesh.

My transit is in Shanghai for 24hrs ..do I need visa to get out from airport and visit Shanghai ? I have Bangladeshi passport.

If so, you may be able to use the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai. You don’t need to apply for a visa then.
If you want to leave the airport, just apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office inside the airport.
