We are on a cruise and arrive PVG at 8am and our flight does not leave till 00.04 next morning. We are flying with Emirates.

The airport has the Luggage Storage Service between Gate 4 and 5, 10 and 11 in the Departure Hall and between Gate 6 and 7 of the greeting area in the Arrival Hall at T1.You need to show the valid documents to deposit your luggage. The staff will check items by X-ray devices. Computer-controlled cabinets are used to store ordinary luggage. Oversized items will not be kept in those cabinets.
