About:China Transit Visa

Hi I am travelling to South Korea (Seoul) via Shanghai

and have a 14 hour layover before arriving. I am from the United Kingdom and my friend The Netherlands, do we require a visa?

Hi Ranvir, you do not need to apply for a transit G type if your travel route is HK-Shanghai(14-hour layover)-South Korea.
