About:China Visa

hi i am a US passport holder, flying to nepal. my transit is in china, with a layover of 9 hours,

do i need any kind of visa? when i return im returning with a nepali passport holder, does she need a visa? the layover is about 9 hours? would you email the answer here. thanks a lot.

Keshu, if the travel route is US-China (9 hours)-Nepal-China (9 hours)-US, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in China in both directions; and when you return, the Nepali passport holder can also enjoy the 24 hour direct transit.
