About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have an Australian passport and am holidaying in Hong Kong,

can I get a 144 hour visa-free if I am flying back to HK for another week before heading back to Australia?

What's your route? You can't fly HKG-China-HKG visa-free.
