About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I fly from Hong Kong to Beijing and get a visa on arrival

if I only have a return ticket to Hong Kong within 72 hours of arriving?

As a common tourist you can't get a visa on arrival at Beijing.
And your route doesn't qualify you for the 72h twov.
