Is it really safe for an average hiker to hike the whole route of Huashan?

And is it really crowded in Mid Oct?

Hi, Huashan is famous for its steep and dangerous path and high altitude. For an average hike, you can hike up and take cable car down. But it really takes time and energy. If you travel alone, I suggest you take cable car up to the north peak and hike to other four peaks, at last take cable car down. Mid oct is ok, just avoid the weekends and holidays.
