Gubeikou to Jinshanling hike in November

Thank you for all this great information!
Can I hike from Gubeikou to Jinshanling during the first half of November? Will it be open to visitors?
Is it worth staying at Gubeikou to start the trip earlier?
Thank you

Of course you can. From Gubeikou to Jinshanling, the single trip takes about 6 hours. If you come right on the day from Beijing, you may miss the last bus back. But it's fine. You can get down after appreciating the sunset and stay one night at the foot of Jinshanling. There are many farmyards and hostels there.

Thank you again for the helpful information you shared with me earlier.

Last year I wasn’t able to travel to China as planned, but this year I already have my tickets and will be visiting at the end of September. I’d like to ask if the information you gave me about hiking from Gubeikou to Jinshanling is still valid.

Is it still possible to do the hike as described, and are the same accommodation options available near Jinshanling?
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
