About:Shanghai Maglev Train

Our flight arrives in Shanghai Pudong Airport at 9:35pm.

Not sure we will be able to make the 9:40pm Maglev, I have seen somewhere that there is a later Maglev, can anyone confirm this? or can we take subway line 2 from airport, what time is the last train?

Yes, according to the information on the official website, the two extra trains are scheduled at 22:15 and 22:40 from PVG. So you can catch it and get to Longyang Road Station. Don't worry.
In addition, the last schedule of metro line 2 from PVG is at 22:00.

Thank you, that's a relief. We won't need to organise other transport now. I am looking forward to taking the Maglev.

Is it easy to get on and off the train with a suitcase?

I would allow time for going through customs and immigration once you arrive in Shanghai. This may take some time if the lines are long and will for sure take at least 30 minutes, if not more. Even if your flight is a domestic flight, you may not get out of the airport in 30 minutes.
