About:Beijing - Shanghai High Speed Train

Single overnight travel beijing to shanghai

as a single traveller would I be expected to share a 2 berth sleeper cabin or would I have to pay double to reserve one personally?

As I know, one passenger seems only able to buy one ticket on each train. So to hold a whole cabin you would need to have another passengers passport in hand.
