COLLECTION of visa in UK

I can collect today (on the 15th March) the woman at the embassy said I could wait a few days after today to collect.
WHEN do I have to collect it by??
1 week? 2 weeks??

Jennifer, you can collect it on and after the date shown on your pick-up slip.
