About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I have a flight on Shanghai Airlines in July going to Pudong Airport and layover for 5 hours.

Then taking Delta Airlines to US.
What terminal is SH Airlines at? Do I have to claim my luggage and recheck them and also do I have to go through immmigration even though I am not leaving airport?
Please advise and give directions.

Hello, your both flights ar located at T1.
For this international to International transfer, you need to reclaim the luggage and go through the immigration. Hereunder is the correct transfer procedures:
International Arrival Access - Boarding Pass & Quarantine & Immigration - International Luggage Claim - Arrival Hall - Go to 3F for Boarding
