About:China Tourist Visa

i have been asked to meet with gov offficials but would like to travel ater meeting.

what type of visa is required? also, meetings have a way of being delayed. What date do I put on application?

You can apply for a tourist L type for that. You can put the actual dates of the meeting on the application form.
