About:Marriage Registration in China

Partner with Canadian Permanent Residence

Dear,
Thank you in advance for all the helpful information.
I am currently holder a Canadian Permanent Residence (Syrian origin). Living and working in canada.

Planing to get marriage with my three years Chinese girlfriend who lives currently in china.

Please advise me from where i shall strat ? Would the chinese consulate or embassy in Canada assist me to start my procedures?
I highly appreciate any advice.

Alaa, you should first apply for a tourist L type for China to marry your girlfriend. First, prepare the relevant documents including your passport and its copy, your Canadian permanent residence permit, the application form, a passport-style photo, and an invitation letter from your Chinese girlfriend. And then submit the application to the CVASC to apply for the tourist L type.
