About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa required for a trip from Canada-->HK-->Shanghai(2days)--> back to Canada

Do I need a visa for Shanghai(2days)? Canadian passport and have HK permanent residence card.

If you don't stopover HK on your way back to Canada, you can enjoy the 144-hour free transit in Shanghai, so no entry permit is required.
