About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am a UK citizen and I want to apply for a tourist visa to China in Nagoya.

Is it possible to apply without Japanese residency? I will only have a 90 day stay visa. The information on the website is very unclear and outdated. Do you still have to use a travel agency?

Yes, it’s possible for you to apply without Japanese residence permit.
The travel agency is not necessary. You can apply on your own.
