About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

its probably someone who asked this question. but im in Shanghai and want to go to hk for a weekend. i got a student visa that grants me one entry to china. do i need a new entry permit to re enter china after this weekend trip in hong kong?

William, do you hold a student X1 or X2? If you hold a X1, I guess you must have a temporary residence permit. If so, you can enter mainland again with the temporary residence permit. If you hold a single-entry X2, you can enter mainland again and you need to apply for a new entry permit.
